STEM took a Wicked turn in Ms. Elmer's science classes at Central Elementary! Students traveled to the magical land of Oz to create an elixir that would produce a chemical reaction!
No internet? No problem! Ms. Elmer's and Ms. Welch's classes at Central Elementary took the opportunity to unplug with some STEM stations!

Transportation Update for Tuesday, 12-10-24: Due to illness, Green Circle riders will be combined with the Orange Circle route. Green Circle riders will arrive approximately 30 minutes later than typical.
LCS Update on after-school activities for today, Thursday, Dec. 5.
All Middle School activities and events have been canceled.
The boys' freshman and junior varsity basketball games will be played at the MPB at their scheduled times.
Varsity and sub-varsity coaches will be in contact with their players about practices.
The Multip purpose building is open.
Linden GymStars Gymnastics will proceed as scheduled.
The Faculty Follies will proceed this evening with their regular scheduled shows at 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm.

Ms. Elmer's 5th grade science classes at Central Elementary completed Thanksgiving themed STEM challenges by creating cranberry towers and harvest baskets!

Thank you to Anne--the Bumblebee Lady from Koppert in Howell. She gave an amazing presentation to Mrs. Cooke's 4th graders at Central Elementary on bumblebees. She even brought a real hive and some sweet treats!
In celebration of World Kindness Day. Central students took part in a week long journey to become a Certified Kindness School created by The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation.
Their challenges included “chalking the walk” with encouraging words, kindness bingo and daily kindness tasks. Many signed a pledge to commit to making kindness a priority at Central
