Erin Lakits Social Skills Facilitator Erin Lakits earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from U of M. She also spent her educational years in Linden and graduated in 2018! We asked her to tell us about herself and she said, “I have a huge passion for mind and body wellness. When I’m not working my day job, I volunteer my time to help choreograph dance and drumline shows, as well as travel the USA as an athletic trainer.” We also asked, “Why did you decide to work with students?” She said, “I would never have become the person I am today without the people in my education who never gave up on me. I want to give back the love and encouragement I was shown so others can thrive!” #LINDENEAGLEPRIDE

Paige Weber School Nurse L I N D E N C O M M U N ITY S C H O O L S L I N D E N C O M M U N ITY S C H O O L S Paige Weber earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University. She and her husband Nathan have been married for seven years and they have four kids together. She enjoys traveling and doing anything outdoors. Mackinac Island is her favorite place to visit! She chose Linden because she said it is a close tight-knit community. She also looks forward to bringing her experience and knowledge to a new area in nursing by working with our students. Welcome to the newest member of our team... Mary Eagle Special Education Paraprofessional Central Elementary School Mary Eagle has been married for 46 years, has two children who graduated from Linden and three grandkids! Besides her family, she loves gardening, going to their cabin in the U.P., and car shows. Her first experience working with special needs population was as an aide on the ISD school buses and she absolutely loved the job. It’s her 1st love and she has decided after 30+ years, it's time to get back to what she loves. Welcome, Mrs. Eagle! #LINDENEAGLEPRIDE

Madeleine Welch 5th Grade Teacher Central Elementary Madeleine Welch earned her degree in Elementary Education from Central Michigan University. We asked, "Why did you decide to work in a school?" She said, "I decided to become a teacher because of the passion for learning I have. Being a learner in all aspects of my life has given me so much joy in everyday experiences and I cannot wait to share this passion with students!" She has three brothers and two loving parents. She loves the fall and sports. Her favorite hobby is shell collecting on the gulf coast of Florida with her mom. Delaney Barber 5th Grade Teacher Central Elementary Delaney Barber attended Oakland University and Central Michigan University and earned her degree in Elementary Education. She recently moved from Midland, MI. She chose Linden because she loves howwelcoming the community is. She loves spending time with her family attheir cottage in Tawas. She also enjoysreading and learning how to make things such as blankets, hats, and scarves. She grew up in Fenton and attended Fenton Schools. Now she's going to be aLinden Eagle! #LINDENEAGLETEAM

Linden is a supportive andkind community that felt like home to me." She is a single mother to her 12-year-old son,Kaleb. She is passionate about mental health,yoga, photography, and making a difference inour community. She enjoys collecting vinyl,spending time with her son, and traveling out west whenever possible. Caylah Jones Central Elementary 4th Grade Teacher Caylah Jones earned her degree in Elementary Education at Oakland University. We asked, Why did you decide to work in education? She replied, I decided to become a teacher because of my younger brother that has autism. His ability to learn in different and unique ways inspired me to want to become a teacher than can guide students to learn in the ways that work best for them. She has a two brothers (one older and one younger). She enjoys camping, photography, and spending time with family and friends whenever possible. She also mentioned that she has two adorable cats!
