Madeleine Welch 5th Grade Teacher Central Elementary Madeleine Welch earned her degree in Elementary Education from Central Michigan University. We asked, "Why did you decide to work in a school?" She said, "I decided to become a teacher because of the passion for learning I have. Being a learner in all aspects of my life has given me so much joy in everyday experiences and I cannot wait to share this passion with students!" She has three brothers and two loving parents. She loves the fall and sports. Her favorite hobby is shell collecting on the gulf coast of Florida with her mom. Delaney Barber 5th Grade Teacher Central Elementary Delaney Barber attended Oakland University and Central Michigan University and earned her degree in Elementary Education. She recently moved from Midland, MI. She chose Linden because she loves howwelcoming the community is. She loves spending time with her family attheir cottage in Tawas. She also enjoysreading and learning how to make things such as blankets, hats, and scarves. She grew up in Fenton and attended Fenton Schools. Now she's going to be aLinden Eagle! #LINDENEAGLETEAM

We asked, "Why have you chosen Linden? She said, "What began as an internship atLinden Middle School and Central Elementaryturned into an opportunity to be a part of astrong community. Linden is a supportive andkind community that felt like home to me." She is a single mother to her 12-year-old son,Kaleb. She is passionate about mental health,yoga, photography, and making a difference inour community. She enjoys collecting vinyl,spending time with her son, and traveling out west whenever possible. Caylah Jones Central Elementary 4th Grade Teacher Caylah Jones earned her degree in Elementary Education at Oakland University. We asked, Why did you decide to work in education? She replied, I decided to become a teacher because of my younger brother that has autism. His ability to learn in different and unique ways inspired me to want to become a teacher than can guide students to learn in the ways that work best for them. She has a two brothers (one older and one younger). She enjoys camping, photography, and spending time with family and friends whenever possible. She also mentioned that she has two adorable cats!

He loves playing the guitar, riding his bike and going to state parks with his wife. After working in the the auto industry for 36 years he decided to work at Linden Community Schools. image of woman with text Tori Amos Central Elementary Special Education Paraprofessional Tori Amos enjoys building gardens in the spring & summer, and spending quality time with her family of six. They go on bike rides, travel, have bon fires & beach picnics. Her greatest joy is art; drawing, painting, jewelry, scultping and anything creative! We asked why she chose Linden and she responded, "It's a wonderful school district, close to home, perfect hours for my family and wanting to be involved in the community." She also said she has a special needs child and working in the school will help her gain knowledge and learn more about children and children with special needs. She feels this is her purpose; to work with children, make a difference, learn, grow and have a stable dependable life career. Welcome Mrs. Amos!
