We loved getting to read to our therapy dog, Belle today!

Central's character strength right now is "supporting others," so we took the opportunity to support our schoolmates while they practiced teamwork. Some tasks were tougher than they expected, but we encouraged and cheered for each other the whole time.

Congratulations to our newest student of the month, Brady. His teachers noted how much he cares about his classmates and is a great role model of kindness and hard work. Great work, Brady. We are all proud of you.

Are you and your family looking for a great time with great food? In partnership with the Linden Masonic Lodge, Linden Community Schools is hosting its annual Spaghetti Dinner. Believe me, you will not go away hungry! All proceeds from this event go to Linden students! #lindeneaglepride

4th graders have talent too! In our second CGT assembly, Central students got to show off some of their character strengths by singing, dancing and playing instruments. We saw so many future stars! Great job 4th grade!

Belle has been busy at Central Elementary being a furry reading buddy and taking students on lots of walks!

Mrs. Duguid's students work on writing persuasive essays that kids do or don't watch too much TV. Apparently there are lots of students that think they need to read, play or do chores more often. and watch less tv.

Congratulations to Central Elementary's Lego Club for their recognition at tonights board meeting. 24 students learned about engineering, worked hard, encountered problens, learned more, worked harder and succeeded in a fabtastic way with their First Lego Robotics league season. Your school, coaches, parents and community are so proud of you.
