Mrs. Sulick led Mrs. Perkins', Mr. Sinn's and Mrs. O'Dell's class in reading and analyzing the story "Stone Soup". Each student brought in a small amount of an ingredient to add to the soup and they shared in eating it as a closing activity. Their veggie intake for the week may have doubled today and it was delicous learning!

October's Principal Challenge was a spooky success. There were so many fun stories that our students wrote. The finalists were stories titled The Green Goblin (where a student was scared by a variety of things that turned out to be nothing until the Green Goblin appeared), No Sleeping in School (Where the mean Principal was eaten by a monster after not allowing students to sleep in school) and The Haunted House (Where a couple of adventurous kids were caught by their parents checking out a spooky abandoned house.) Great work by all our future authors!

Congratulation Charli for being the Central Elementary student of the month! Mr. Sinn and Mrs. Perkins had some great things to say about how this rock star leads her classmates with a kind heart and humble demeanor. Great job Charli!
