Mrs. Sulick led Mrs. Perkins', Mr. Sinn's and Mrs. O'Dell's class in reading and analyzing the story "Stone Soup". Each student brought in a small amount of an ingredient to add to the soup and they shared in eating it as a closing activity. Their veggie intake for the week may have doubled today and it was delicous learning!

October's Principal Challenge was a spooky success. There were so many fun stories that our students wrote. The finalists were stories titled The Green Goblin (where a student was scared by a variety of things that turned out to be nothing until the Green Goblin appeared), No Sleeping in School (Where the mean Principal was eaten by a monster after not allowing students to sleep in school) and The Haunted House (Where a couple of adventurous kids were caught by their parents checking out a spooky abandoned house.) Great work by all our future authors!
